Hugo Voting

If you’re like me and you registered to vote for the Hugos way back when but haven’t gotten around to doing so, there are only about two weeks left.

I googled it today and turns out great minds think alike because they’d just put up a reminder post about it here.  So vote if you’re so inclined.

Or don’t and let a slate and apathy dictate the outcome.

About M. H. Lee

M.H. Lee is a speculative fiction writer currently residing in Colorado whose stories are sometimes dark, sometimes funny, sometimes darkly funny, but hopefully always thought-provoking and entertaining.

Thanks for the reminder. I haven’t finished the Three-Body Problem yet, but I already know it’s not going to overtake Goblin Emperor for me. It’s a sad year for voting – so many No Awards and nominees left off my ballot altogether.

I haven’t read any of the novels yet so may not vote for the novel category unless I really get on it but I have 600 pages left in a Robin Hobb book to finish first. Will have to give Goblin Emperor another try since so many people say such good things about it. I read the first chapter and it was fine, but not enough to keep going at the time.

Yeah, I’m putting No Award at the top if there aren’t at least three non-slate candidates in a category and going from there.
