Just wanted to share this link.
It turns out that for romance, SFF, children’s, teen/YA, mystery/thriller/suspense, and comics/graphic novels if you want your book on Amazon to be listed in certain sub-categories you need to choose specific key words when you list your book.
So, for SFF if you have a werewolf book you’d need to use the keyword, “shapeshifter” to get the book into that sub-category. But if it was in the romance category you’d want to use “werewolf.” And if it was teen/YA, either word would work.
(Huh? Why not the same keywords for all three? Who knows.)
Anyway. First I’d seen this mentioned was today, so thought I’d share.
Useful to know.
