I’ll Take It…

A complete stranger liked something I wrote!  (And, yes, editors at magazines are complete strangers, too.  And maybe I should value their opinion over some random person on the street’s opinion, but for some reason this made me just as happy as those occasional really nice personals I’ve received.)

So, I have a beta reader who gave my story to their mother-in-law who then gave it to someone in her book club.  And the person in her book club read my story, called the mother-in-law on the phone, and said she “REALLY liked it!” and that I can really write and the story has potential.

How awesome is that?  I tell ya, sometimes it’s the little moments that keep you going.

Good for you! I’m glad you are feeling inspired! Those seemingly little validations, are actually quiet huge, aren’t they? ☺
