Just in case I’m ever successful

And I somehow forget (as if this blog won’t be reminder enough) that I once sucked.  Or if someone who reads my work decides I was somehow born brilliant and can do no wrong (I really am an optimist),  I figured I’d share a little piece of my “early work” to keep my ego in check and feet firmly planted on the ground.

So, without further ado, I present to you a poem written by yours truly:

I love the Baby Giant Panda,
I’d gladly welcome one to my veranda.
I never worry, wondering maybe
Whether it isn’t Giant Baby;
I leave such matters to scientists –
The Giant Baby – and Baby Giantists.
I simply want a veranda, and a
Giant Baby Giant Panda.

Hahaha.  And now I’m off to do that work that pays the bills.  Joy.
